Following a highly successful Division I coaching career, Coach Nathan Taylor has launched XLPerformance with a goal of bringing high level coaching to aspiring track and field athletes and runners of all ages. He has coached athletes from middle school to masters and as a collegiate coach, he mentored over 50 ALL-AMERICANS including three National Champions. He has had sprinters, runners, hurdlers, jumpers and throwers at the NCAA Championships in every event. On the international level, Taylor is the National Coach for the US Virgin Islands and worked directly with eight athletes from six different countries at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. 

High performance training is more about the coach than it is about facilities. Coach Taylor is recognized nationally as a highly individualized, perceptive and creative coach who can assess athletes strengths and weaknesses and make significant permanent changes to motor patters and performance. He has 45 years of experience designing training programs that facilitate maximum improvements and as a coach in the Ivy League his teams won over 30 Championship titles and he was selected the NCAA Coach of the Year thirteen times. He knows how to keep it challenging but fun as athletes strive to make their dreams come true.
